Forgive any timeline mistakes, or blaring character errors, it’s been years since I read the books.
Prompt: Playing cards.
Mat smirked, laying his cards down on the table with a flourish and watching as Rand’s face fell and Perrin’s eye twitched. After all these years of friendship, they had yet to learn that playing cards with Mat was not the way to relieve boredom and frustration, for while it relieved the former, it nearly doubled the latter. Rand threw his cards down, huffing and glaring out at the window, where rain was coming down while Perrin gently placed his own hand on the table, face down, directing his glare at Mat and his brightly smiling face instead of the rain.
Late, Late, Late, Late Late.
I could only think of one for this one.... As fun as Fally’s prompts were, I just did not think I could write them.
