After reviewing previous lists and going over and deciding which fandoms have truly and fully made an impact on my life, I present this list to celebrate the new year and hopefully many new fandoms and friends to come.
1.) Gundam Wing, Duo/Heero, the first one.
2.) Final Fantasy VII, Reno - The longest one.
3.) Final Fantasy IX, Kuja/Zidane - I met so many people who are important to me through this.
4.) Legend of Dragoon, Albert/Dart/Lavitz - It was quiet, but it left a lasting impression on me.
5.) Breath of Fire IV, Ryu/Fou-lu - Fou-lu is my PSN avatar, it was a very important game for me.
6.) Dragon Knights, Thatz & Rune & Rath - My boys <3. Best OT3 ever, even if it's strictly platonic.
7.) Escaflowne, Dilandau/Van - This was important to me. Hard to find, but important.
8.) Devil May Cry - Vergil/Dante - First twincest ship! If it wasn't for this, I wouldn't have found the next one.
9) Arc the Lad: ToS, Darc/Kharg - Like, a good deal of what I write that is good is for them.
10.) Saiyuki, Hakkai/Sanzo - Obsessed over this for what feels like years, but was probably months.
11.) Kingdom Hearts - Sora/Riku - Still can't convince me it's not canon.
12.) Lux Pain, Atsuki/Liu Yee - Partners & psychics. Older hot-head and younger. Implied that Liu Yee woke up from a coma to rescue him.
13.) Legend of Legaia, Vahn - I am really mad I can't find my disc.
14.) Persona 4, Yu/Yosuke - Partners/Best Friends is a trope that gets me (as long as it doesn't remind me of me and my best friend)
15.) Bully, Gary/Jimmy - I played the hell out of it, and I love the dynamic.
16.) Resident Evil, Wesker/Leon - It's weird, the pairings that stick with you.
17.) [dot]Hack//G.U, Haseo & Kuhn & Silabus - Canard Guildmasters <3.
18.) Silent Hill, Henry & Walter. This was one of the big ones, I don't know why I had to add it to the list.
19.) Castlevania: CoD, Hector/Isaac - I just want something more for both of them.
20.) Golden Sun, Issac/Felix - Minor obsession, I thought about them all the time long ago.
21.) X/1999, Subaru x Kamui - This should be higher up the list, it's one I think of really fondly. (I missed the drama way back when).
22.) Tales of Graces, Richard/Asbel - I want a happy ending for them. Richard is so in love.
23.) Prince of Tennis, Niou/Yagyuu - Another one I quietly obsessed over.
24.) Umineko, Lion/Battler - Very sad there isn't more out there.
25.) Saint's Row, Gat/Boss - My Boss was so hopelessly in love with Gat. You just do not know.
26.) Darker than Black, Hei - I have a type. I am aware of my type.
27.) Borderlands, Handsome Jack - Best Villain, favorite villain. (After, you know, Sephiroth)
28.) Prototype, Alex - I love Alex, what can I say?
29.) Assassin's Creed, Malik/Altair - Only very recently broke my obsession with this pairing.
30.) Detroit Become Human - Markus/Connor/North. Probably not what anyone expected I would come out shipping, but it is.
31.) My Hero Academia, Midoriya Izuku & Todoroki Shouto & Bakugou Katsuki. (.... Shut up.)
Honorable mentions:
Naruto, Sasuke/Naruto - One of those I obsessed over, but is no longer a favorite anymore.
Star Ocean, Til the End of Time, Albel/Fayt - Spent 200+ hours beating this just to get his ending. Printed out a manual and everything.
Death Note, L/Light - loved it, but like so many things, that love faded.
Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru/Inuyasha - It was important to teen me.
Full Metal Alchemist, Ed/Envy - more than a few people wrote this for me. I love them.
Dragon Quest Vii - I loved this game, still love this game.
Dishonored, Daud/Corvo. This fandom got me through some rough times.
Assassin's Creed/Protoype, Desmond/Alex. I got into Assassin's creed because there was so much protocreed out there.
Kidding, if I meant for you to not see it, you wouldn't know it was there.
