December 14, 2008: Dark Cloud
Title: December 14, 2008: Dark Cloud
Fandom: Dark Cloud
Warnings: None.
Summary: Two glimpses into everyday events in the Dark Cloud world.
Disclaimer: I own nothing, but the concept.
Written for December 14, 2008, in celebration of the year ending/Christmas.
Prompt: a broken window
Toan looked at the glass on the ground, a frown appearing on his face as he looked between it and the jagged hole in his window. He scowled, realizing that it would take at least an hour for the atlamillia to repair the damage and that the clouds gathering over ahead would not wait until the window was fixed. Suddenly, Xiao’s head popped out of the upstairs window –the broken one-.
“Sorry Master!” She yowled, her ears drooping. “I missed my target.”
Prompt: spontaneously combusting spoons
Ruby blinked as she pulled the object out of the chest, staring in a mix of shock and amusement as she studied the item and tried to come up with possible uses. Suddenly, a dragon peeked its large head around the corner; an angry look on its large, stupid face as it drew closer. Ruby spent all of one second considering before she chucked the small object at the beast.
The resulting explosion was something she had not been expecting, but now she knew; never mix dragons and tableware, most especially spoons.
Heh, Dark Cloud is so fun to write.
